How to measure imageHow to measure for your custom fireplace doors.

Measuring is the most important step. Our aim is to make this step an easy one. One of the following six forms will commonly apply to your fireplace opening. If your fireplace is round or an arch, a template is recommended. Please Click Here for instructions on making a template.

Making a Template for a Round or Arch Opening

A template is made using cardboard that is placed in front of the opening. Cut a hole in the cardboard to allow your hand and arm into the fireplace and simply make a tracing of the fireplace from the inside.

Please ensure the bottom of the cardboard is flush with the hearth and is a clean factory-cut edge.
